About UNA-USA
The United Nations Association of the United States of America (UNA-USA) is a membership organization of the United Nations. It is dedicated to inform, inspire, and mobilize the American people to support the ideals and vital work of the UN.
For 70 years, UNA-USA has worked to accomplish this mission by working with its national network of Chapters. It has mobilized youth engagement, advocacy efforts, education programs, and public events.
UNA-USA is a program of the United Nations Foundation. Together with its sister organization, the Better World Campaign, UNA-USA represents the single largest network of advocates and supporters of the United Nations in the world.

Historical Information
The United Nations Association of the United States of America, Southern Palmetto State Chapter (UNA-USA, SPSC) is a division of UNA-USA. It is a nonpartisan, nonprofit membership organization dedicated to enhancing the participation of the United States in the United Nations.
The organization works in close cooperation with the city and state governments through educational outreach. They also work through the media, area schools, and other local organizations.
UNA-USA, SPSC jurisdiction begins at the Little River, South Carolina line to the Columbia, South Carolina line. The wonderful area of the Palmetto State covers 60 miles of straight coastline.
